The menu title File presents the following commands |
| 1. New Use this command to create a new document (File). |

| 2. Open Opens a new document. If you want to open an Arabic windows document, you need to select the Arabic Windows check box in the open dialog. |

| 3. Close Closes the current document. |
||
| 4. Save Saves the current document. If you save the document in a file with an extension other than AED then all font attributes will be lost. If you want to save the document in Arabic Windows Format, you need to select the Arabic windows check box in the save dialog. |

| 5. Save As You can use this if you want to save the document under a different name. If you save the document in a file with an extension other than AED then all font attributes will be lost. If you want to save the document in Arabic Windows format you need to select the Arabic Windows check box in the save dialog. |

| 6. Print Prints the current document. |

| 7. Print Preview Shows the document in the printed page without printing it. |

| 8. Page Setup Sets the header and footer for the printed page. It is also used to set the page margins. |

| 9. Printer Setup Allows the user to select the relevant printer. |
||
| 10. File Info Gives the full report about the current document . |
||
| 11. Exit Exits the program. |
