The menu title File presents the following commands |
| 1. New Use this command to create a new document (File). |

| 2. Open Opens a new document. |
||
| 3. Close Closes the current document. |
||
| 4. Save Saves the current document. If you save the document in a file with an extension other than UED then all font attributes will be lost. |

| 5. Save As You can use this if you want to save the document under a different name. If you save the document in a file with an extension other than UED then all font attributes will be lost. |

| 6. Print Prints the current document. |
||
| 7. Print Preview Shows the document in the printed page without printing it. |
||
| 8. Page Setup Sets the header and footer for the printed page. It is also used to set the page margins. |
||
| 9. Printer Setup Allows the user to select the relevant printer. |
||
| 10. File Info Gives the full report about the current document . |
||
| 11. Exit Exits the program. |
